Middletown Rhode Island Police Headquarters

​

A new 22,000 square foot facility for the town of Middletown, RI. The building is set into a sloping site allowing for a full lower level for locker rooms, evidence storage, offices, armory, and shift briefing rooms. The upper first-floor level contains dispatch spaces, a community room, offices, a sally port, and holding cells.

Engineering consisted of a steel building frame supporting cold-formed light gauge roof trusses and masonry shear walls for wind and seismic loading.

Salisbury Public Library Salisbury Massachusetts

​

A new 16,000 square foot LEED Gold Library for the town of Salisbury, Massachusetts. This shingle style two story library was engineered using wood framed walls, floors and roofs and utilized wood panel shear walls to resist wind and seismic loading.
